Stony Creek Cemetery in Branford, Connecticut was established in 1866 and today is an active burial place. Stony Creek was settled in the early 19th century and is known for its quaint village atmosphere and beautiful coastline overlooking the Thimble Islands. The illustrated lecture by Jane Peterson Bouley tells about the founding families buried at the cemetery and the emigrants who joined the community to work at the quarries. Various styles of gravestones are discussed and the military service of many of those buried in the cemetery.  © 2013 Jane P. Bouley 47 minutes, audio by BCTV
